Admiral Black opens the Senate 16th anniversary of September 11 attack

Senate Chaplain retired Admiral Barry Black praise that Americans recall the tragedy and heroism of that day, to remember that freedom is not free, that Americans are not hyphenated but one people, grateful for protection since that calamitous day, asking that lawmakers strive to make justice roll down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream. The Senate then conducts the pledge of allegiance and a moment of silence in tribute to the victims of the historic terrorist attack.
