Emu on the Loose Hightails it Through Houston Junction

A loose emu was caught on camera dodging traffic while running frantically through a junction in Houston, Texas, on July 14. The footage, filmed by Lola Oyekan, shows the large, flightless bird hightailing it across a junction near the Sam Houston Tollway in the north of the city. Oyekan can be heard exclaiming: "There's a whole ostrich in the street," before bursting out laughing and adding: "I could not make this up, there is an entire ostrich."
