Illinois Congresswoman Cheri Bustos says after her election to lead the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee that she loves mentoring people, starting a program build the bench in Illinois after recruiting and realizing it was hard to find candidates in difficult districts, since training 300 people to run at every level of office from coroner to city council to county clerk and state legislatures beginning with a boot camp and mentorship, something she loves to do, to share best practices since nothing she knows is proprietary but to bring in the help of other members.
