The return of cricket: Fans enjoy the first socially-distanced pilot match at The Oval

Fans return to domestic cricket for the first time since the start of lockdown, with Surrey’s friendly against Middlesex chosen as a pilot event by the Government.Up to 1,000 spectators followed a one-way system, and sat at one-metre distances from other groups at the ongoing event at The Oval, in Kennington, south London.
