Celebrities hit the red carpet at award ceremony of 74th Berlin Film Festival

BERLIN, GERMANY - FEBRUARY 24: At the 74th International Berlin Film Festival (Berlinale) held in the capital city of Germany, Berlin, the red carpet event took place prior to the award ceremony on Saturday evening (Feb. 24). Among those who walked the red carpet were Berlinale Artistic Director Carlo Chatrian, Berlinale Executive Director Mariette Rissenbeek, Jury President Lupita Nyong'o, American actor Sebastian Stan, Minister of Culture Claudia Roth, Berlin Mayor Kai Wegner, Berlin Senator for Culture and Social Integration Joe Chialo, Tricia Tuttle, British actress Emily Watson, Italian actor and director Giulio Base, Habib Ahandessi, Mati Diop, Fabakary Assymby Coly, Ilker Çatak, Xabier Erkizia, Jennifer Reeder, German presenter Hadnet Tesfai, and Taiwanese actress Wu Ke-Xi, among many other celebrities. Director Martin Scorsese was presented with the Honorary Golden Bear for his lifetime achievement in an award ceremony at the Berlinale Palast on February 20. 20 films are competing for the awards in this year’s Competition and winners will be announced at the Berlinale Palast.
