Instituto Terra Reforests Barren Atlantic Forest Portion

AIMORES, BRAZIL - NOVEMBER 21: In an old cattle shed at Instituto Terra, a charriot that belonged to Sebastião Salgado's father by the time he was the owner of the cattle farm where now the institute works, on November 21, 2019 in Aimorés, Brazil. Instituto Terra, founded in 1998 by the photographer Sebastiao Salgado and his wife, Lelia Deluiz Wanick Salgado, is an environmental NGO, located at Aimores, in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil."nThe old Salgado's family cattle ranch was acquired by the couple and, in the last 20 years, over 2.5 million native Atlantic seedlings have been planted.
