But just how far such "spin" might be taken was brought into question recently after Khan, a Muslim, was questioned by immigration officials at a US airport. Amid the Indian media furore about alleged racial profiling, some pointed out the co-incidence that Khan had just completed a major film that deals with the experiences of Muslims in the United States after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
