Lord Coe SOT - what Dick Pound was clear to say was that rogue elements clearly infiltrated the organisation but this was not necessarily a systemic failure in our systems - if there are failings in our anti-doping programme, if there have been failings in our internal governances then we'll fix them Q: senior officials helping athletes cheat Lord Coe SOT - if those allegations are true that is abhorrent and we will fix this Q: how can you be trusted? Lord Coe SOT - my responsibility is to do that (clean it up) / I have the overwhelming support of my council and the sport to do that / there are no tomorrows / this is my responsibility and we will fix whatever we need to fix Q: did you have no idea this was going on and why not? Lord Coe SOT - these allegations are shocking / allegations that corruption has taken place in our organisation are shocking and I did not know the basis of those allegations / we have anti-doping processes in place / we've led the way on that (re top official was involved) - that is inexcusable and is now matter for French prosecution Q: do you accept you will be judged on how you deal with this? Lord Coe SOT - the sport's credibility is on the line / I'm the president of that sport and will be judged in what I and my council colleagues do now
