Volcanic activity continues at Mount Etna, Italy

A lava flow emerged from a fissure at about 3,000 metres on the southern rim of the Bocca Nuova crater. It descended along the southwest flank of the volcano, reaching an altitude of about 1,950 metres above sea level near the Galvarina shelter.
