Traveling watch, Travel watch made of silver. The oval silver case has no glass, so you have to open the lid to see the silver dial, with only an hour hand. The timepiece has a spring barrel connected by a chain to a snake mounted on the first wheel. The force is transferred by three wheels to the last wheel, the so-called escapement wheel, which converts the rotating movement of the wheels into the reciprocating movement of the balance. Here the escapement is the so-called spindle run, in which the escapement wheel alternately pushes two projections on the balance axis in the opposite direction. The wheel of the balance, which slows the back-and-forth movement due to its mass, is located under the beautifully crafted gap on the rear platform. The movement of the watch can be regulated in two ways, two of which are located on the back plate. the larger of the two, at the top center, is mounted on the spindle of the spring barrel and can be adjusted using a worm wheel. This way you can increase or decrease the tension of the spring. The engraving of the second, smaller dial differs from the first, and is a later addition. It serves to control the effective length of the spiral coil under balance. The change also included weighting the balance, with an extra ring underneath with six rivets.
