SASSY BULAK, KYRGYZSTAN: Picture taken 12 July 2005 shows Uzbek refugees in a camp in the Kyrgyz village of Sassyk Bulak. On the parched hills of southern Kyrgyzstan, hundreds of Uzbek refugees who fled a massacre in Andijan are anxiously waiting for the newly-elected president of this Central Asian state to decide their lot. "Our fate will be (Kurmanbek) Bakiyev's first test. He must choose between Uzbekistan and the international community. We hope he will side with civilized countries.
