MuMa - The museum of modern art Andre Malraux, in Le Havre, France, 26 May 2013. The MuMa opened in 1845. In September 1944 it was destroyed by bombings. Only the paintings, some 1,500 works moved off site for safekeeping, survived. It was rebuilt between 1952 and 1961, and renamed the Musee Malraux in 1999, and again in 2011, to become the Musee d'art moderne Andre Malraux—or MuMa.
