FRANCE - 2024/06/23: In this photo illustration, a man holds a sample of the new Japanese 10,000 yen banknote in his hand. Starting July 3, 2024, the Bank of Japan will release a new series of banknotes to financial institutions, which will then distribute them over their counters and through ATMs. Financial institutions will begin distribution after completing the necessary preparations. The new 1,000, 5,000, and 10,000 yen notes are designed to reduce the risk of counterfeiting, with enhanced security features introduced by the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Japan.
