Traditional Laohuzao Teahouse In Shanghai

Laohuzao is a traditional store which sells hot water for residents and also serves as a teahouse and bathhouse in eastern China, dating back to when wood and coal was the only available fuel source. Laohuzao is also called tiger stove because of its bulky shape with windows on the stove chamber shaped like tiger eyes and a chimney reminiscent of a tail.
