Mumbai, INDIA: An Indian family enjoys the waves at a garbage littered Juhu Beach in Mumbai, 12 July 2007. For the last week, the sea around Juhu beach has being churning out more than 300 tones of solid waste everyday. the city's beach supervisor said that due to unspecified changes in the levels of sea current and wave patterns, huge quantities of solid waste - about 90 percent of which is high - quality recyclable plastic - was being dumped on the Juhu beach resulting in a huge stretch being buried under the garbage.
